About this work

Description

An investigation into the ways in which devolution may affect the NHS in the future. In the past, there have always been variations in the ways in which the NHS has operated throughout the UK. The Barnet Formula allocated more money for Scotland because of deprivation. Wales has also received more funds than England, although not as much as Scotland. In future Scotland has no plans to charge elderly people in care, but in England, only their medical expenses will be met. Will these regional differences lead to Hèalth Tourism'?
