About this work

Description

This programme features details of a survey of doctors which shows that three quarters of those questioned say they're not confident that the new six billion pound computer system for the NHS will deliver value for money. The computer aims to link hospitals, GPs' surgeries, and mental health services across England meaning that patients' records will all be available online. Gerry Northam talks to a number of GPs who are against this new system, as well as the Director General for IT in the NHS and Conservative MP Richard Bacon.
