Open on the desk is a fictitious edition of William Harvey's Exercitatio anatomica de motu cordis et sanguinis: it has on the title page "Exercitation ... Gulielmo Harvey" (corrected from "Gullelmo" in an earlier state) and an engraving of the heart as a frontispiece
