Description

Image of a microscope of early style but made from later materials, probably in the mid nineteenth century in France. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A67392).
