Description
Bird's eye view of a model of a medieval human mandible (lower jaw bone). To image the specimen, 4800 virtual x-ray slices were captured using a micro CT scanner. These were then used to create a digital model and colour textures were applied to highlight the teeth (blue) and bone (brown).
