About this work
Description
Two carved wooden panels. The first depicts a female saint holding a vessel and lid. It was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1934 and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R1418/1938). The second panel depicts St Agatha with her breasts on a salver in her left hand. It was acquired at an unknown point. The items are not held by Wellcome Collection.
