Il vero Giardino de' Philosophi piantato da Raimonde Lullo e Giovanni Bracesco, Bresciano. Opera in forma di dialogo, ove, gl'interlocutori sono Reimondo in qualità di Maestro, e Giovanni di discipolo dell' arte. Author's holograph MS. Illustrated by a few small symbolic pen-drawings, some partly coloured. On p. 346 the author writes: 'Ego Frater Innocentius Martelli in hoc opere multum elaboravi, et certe aut hic aut nusquam erit quod queris ... hoc opus complevi die 30 Septembris 1724 .... In medio operis per tres menses dolores acerbissimos in manibus, pedibus, genibus, brachiis sustinui, ita quod putabam podagram me interfecturam, sed gratia Dei et S. Trofimi die 4 Augusti convalui'. Pp. 347-349 contain a Prayer to be said 'In principio nostro operis' and a hymn, both in Latin. 349-356, Alchemical receipts. 356-367, Alchemical receipts by a contemporary hand.
