Letters from the photographer Charles Reid to Galton, concerning Reid photographing horses at the Royal Commission for Horse Breeding show at the Royal Agricultural Hall. Reid discusses arrangements for the show, the necessary equipment and locations to take accurate photographs, pricing of negatives and prints, and encloses a photograph of a boy on horseback taken at a previous show.
