4 autograph letters, signed, 1794-1838 (nos.65-68), including 1 to the French astronomer and politician Dominique François Arago (1786-1853) (no.66); 1 autograph receipt, signed, 1807 (no.69); 1 manuscript report of a meeting, signed by Prony and others, summoned by the Maritime and Colonial Minister to discuss pilotage tariffs, with particular reference to Livorno, 1811 (no.70).

Biographical note
Baron de Prony was in charge of projects in Italy including straightening the River Po, draining the Pontine Marshes and improving the harbours of Venice, Ancona and Genoa.
