Reproduction note

Dunker was himself an etcher rather than an engraver and so was incompetent to complete the skies of his grander compositions. This plate, like most of Dunker's later prints, was completed by his long-standing associate in Bern, M.G. Eichler. The respective roles of the two men are shown by the lettering
