Lettering

Lovely woman. ... Lettering continues: Oh woman! thou art the genius of consolation in the world; thou softenest down the asperities of l[i]fe; thou pourest balm into the wounds of the afflicted; without thee all would be dead, advetsity a weight to sink beneath, and even out prosperity a dreary blessing; -it is thy affection gives us strength & happiness -for how much brighter the sun-beams when we lead thee out to enjoy them & how much less we feel the storm while we shield thee from it. The woman speaks a verse: "Remember me whene'er you sigh, be it at misnight's silent hour, remember me, and think that I, return thy sigh, and feel its power.
