Tyrrell of the Common Cold Unit of the Medical Research Council on the benefits of sucking zinc gluconate to relieve the symptoms of a cold, attached is an article: 'Prophylaxis and treatment of rhinovirus colds with zinc gluconate lozenges' by W. Al-Nakib, P. G. Higgins, I. Barrow, G. Batstone and D. A. J. Tyrrell copied from "Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy" Vol. 21, 1988. Also includes correspondence with various individuals at the Rowett Research Institute and a letter from John M. Meldrum of The British Society for Nutritional Medicine, enclosing a copy of his report: 'A Response to "The Health of the Nation: a Summary of the Government's Proposals"' published in "Journal of Nutritional Medicine" 1991(2), pp. 415-421.
