Correspondence between Vane and the publisher including; letter from Vane to Professor Sam Stacey, St Thomas's Hospital (editor at British Journal of Pharmacology and Chemotherapy) submitting the paper (27 April 1967); letter from Vane to Stacey, dated 31 May 1967, thanking him for the referee's report on the paper (not present); and a letter from Bob Hodges of the Department of Pharmacology, Royal Free Hospital Medical School, the press editor, saying that the paper was now accepted by the editorial board with minor amendments and had been sent to press (14 June 1967).
