Description

Leaflet advertising Hall's Coca Wine, a tonic wine made from the leaves of the Erythroxylon Coca plant. It was sold as a restorative, especially after influenza and supposed to cure sleeplessness, neuralgia, anaemia, brain fatigue, physical breakdown and disordered nerves. The front is an illustration by Henry Ryland. It shows a young woman staring into space, dark hair tumbling over her shoulders with a pattern of white lilies behind her.
