Discusses the possibility of keeping Mr Rankin as a permanent representative for Mr Stratton and Burroughs Wellcome & Co, in India and Australia. "If they are willing to accept my idea of half his salary & expenses paid by us - he giving equal attention to our interests & sending all his orders to us for Hypo in India I would strongly recommend our arranging for him to take ch[ar]g[e] of our exhibit at Calcutta upon his arrival there" [p. 3].
