Photograph of a framed oil painting, attributed to S. Cox, depicting a country tooth drawer extracting a tooth from a patient. A caption attached to the frame titles the work 'Country Dentist' and attributes the work to the Irish School, c.1750, likely for display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The painting was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 31st October 1940 (P2509/1940). Related images: V0017173, L0016047,V0017174
