Description
Statue of St Martin, Bishop of Tours (316-397) sharing his cloak with a beggar. St Martin was invoked against skin infections and complaints. The item was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R2423/1937) but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
