Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Includes a set of 25 Player's cigarette cards from 1926 showing the production of tobacco "From plantation to smoker", 3 packets of Marlborough cigarettes (October 2008) with the messages: 'Smoking kills', 'Smoking can cause a slow and painful death', 'Smoking when pregnant harms your baby', 'Smoking seriously harms you and others round you' and 'Your doctor or your pharmacist can help you stop smoking', 3 pouches of Drum tobacco and a pack of Mayfair cigarettes with new (as of 2008) images as well as messages: 'Smoking causes fatal lung cancer', 'Smokers die younger', 'Smoking may reduce the blood flow and causes impotence', Tobacco Advisory Council leaflets about EEC legislation banning tobacco advertising (1991), Richmond Superkings (new tactile pack leaflet, 2011 with health warning), 'Tobacco legislation is changing' (Sainsbury's, 2012).
