About this work

Description

Transmission electron micrograph showing interaction between inflammatory cells and corneal stromal fibroblasts in the area of a corneal ulcer. The long cellular projections to the right of the field are stromal fibroblasts, the smaller, rounder cell towards the top is a lymphocyte and the larger cell towards the bottom is a macrophage.
