    IN this Edition the Text has been Revised and brought up to date. New Chapters on Sectional Anatomy, Antiseptics, and Relations of Micro-Organisms to Gynecology, Sterility, and Abdominal Section have been written; and several New Plates of Microscopical and Naked- eye Anatomy have been added. An Index of Gynecological Literature in the leading Home and Foreign Journals, from the date of Publication of the Second Edition to the end of 1885, has been specially prepared for this Edition. Space for these additions lias been found by the removal of the Chapters on Abortion, Retroflexion of the Gravid Uterus, and Extra- Uterine Gestation. Mr .J. A.
