"Part 6: Corset to Comfort" A survey of the century's fashions in women's dress, pointing out the influence of the First World War, the Depression, World War II rationing and post-War optimisim. How 1960s technological developments were reflected in fashion and were followed by the "flower child" reaction, by Mary Quant, Barbara Hulanicki (Biba) and Vivienne Westwood.
