Confocal micrograph of Arabidopsis thaliana

Fluorescent proteins, confocal microscopy and image processing algorithms are being used to obtain quantitative information regarding gene expression and cell growth from growing plants. This image was produced using a Leica SP5 confocal microscope. Objectives: 40x oil immersion
