Description

The first in a three-part series in which Gunther von Hagens, founder of the Institute for Plastination, demonstrates how the body functions when in a state of crisis in a hospital emergency room. He demonstrates by dissecting real corpses in front of an audience of body donors and their families in Guben, Germany. Accident and Emergency consultant John Heyworth provides additional commentary.This part looks at accidents which can cause death within minutes such as serious injury to a major blood vessel.
