    deed, the number of adults in whom that disease lias appeared, who have had the Cow Pox in infancy, and, of course, soon after it was first employed as a preventive of small pox, is so very small as to render it probable that, in most instances, it has been owing to the process of vaccination in them having been interrupted by causes with which we were not at first acquainted.'
