Lettering continues with verses in English and French, "His reverend lockes in comely awls did wave ... Ondoyants autour de son front ridé". and the dedication: "Engraved from the original picture in the profession of Thomas Heathcote Esqr. to whom this plate is dedicated by his obedt. humble servt. Wm. Ward"
