'T^HE Nature and Caufes of Dropfies, have been inveftigated at large, and the Indications of Cure clearly laid down, by many eniinent Writers; in particular by Boerhaaye, Hoffman, and Cullen, in their general Syftems of Pradice; and by Monro, Wilks, and Others, in Effays profeffedly written upon the Subjed.
