Pancras Church the old & new Ch. Yds. 18 Kentish Town. 19. Primrose Hill 20. Hampstead. 21. Highgate Lettering continues: "These well's are situate about a mile northward from London the Mineral Waters of which are surprisingly successfull in curing the most obstinate Scurvy, King's Evil, Leprosy & all other breakings out &c and defilements of the skin: Running Sores Cancers, Eating Ulcers, the Piles (herein far excelling the Waters of Holt) surfeits or any corruption of the Blood & Juices the Rheumatism, and all Inflamatory Distempers, most disorders of the Eyes and pains of the Stomach and Bowels, loss of Appetite sinking of the spirits & Vapours The most Voilent Colds, Worms of all kinds in either young or old the stone and gravel & the Stranguery or total supression of Urine most decays of Nature & Weakness in either sex" Central portion of lettering reads: "The 5 stones here described were voided by Mr. Harrod livin in Hedge Row Islington by drinking these waters a few days ; The single stone was voided by Mrs. Collins living in Dean Street near Red Lyon Square the very second time she drank these waters ; These stones may seen of Mr. Bristowe Goldsmith nr. Bride Lane Fleet Street were the Pancras Waters are only sold in London. They are very gratefull to the taste and may be taken in any season of the year with equal advantage See the printed directions to be had for asking at Mr. Bristowe's who likewise sells Bristol, Bath, Pyrmont and Spa waters at the lowest prices.
