Two images on one negative. The first is a reproduction of a photograph of pilgrims kneeling before the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. The second is a reproduction of a photograph of a pilgrim filling flasks with the Miraculous Water from the Spring at Our Lady of Lourdes. The photographs are from Weekly Illustrated c.1937. They were compiled by Captain Johnston-Saint, a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee, for his Royal Society of Medicince lecture in 1938. Related images: V0048854
