About this work
Description
Structural magnetic resonance image (MRI) of a human brain. The data was processed in such a way to show the affinity between the 'flesh' of the brain and the 'flesh' of the head. The image was created to convey the idea that the brain is also flesh and blood just as the rest of the body is. The scientist wanted to highlight that although it is an important organ it is also made up of the same matter that makes up the body.
