About this work

Also known as

Dog without cerebrum and corpus striatum.

Description

Detailed surgical footage of the removal of the cerebrum and straitum (brain) of an experimental dog. The dog is seen post-operatively after 10 days; the dog walks in a tight circle in one direction with the wall preventing its movement on one side. A sequence shows how the dog is fed post-operatively by hand. Another dog walks in circles after the same operation. It is fed on the lap of (presumably) Dr Dresel.
