Description
Anciens usages, coûtumes bisarres, faits et anecdotes historiques, morceaux de phisique et d'histoire naturelle. Instruction sur l'attaque des places. This MS. was probably written by a physician of Aurillac (Auvergne). The heading of p. 1 is 'Anciens usages en France', and the first 215 pp. contain many details of gastronomical and medical curiosities, anecdotes, etc. Pp. 284-301 contain notes on the diseases, etc., of the Island of St. Kilda, extracted from M. Martin's 'Voyage to St. Kilda' 1698, and other sources. The 6 ll. at the end contain rough pen-drawings to illustrate the article on siege-warfare (pp. 307-360). Produced in Aurillac.

Physical description
1 volume 1 l. + 360 pp. + 6 ll. 8vo. 20 × 13 cm. Original calf binding. The compiler's name has been cut out of the first leaf, and the excision carefully repaired. The title on the spine has also been defaced.
