Ownership note

This volume was found by George William Collins [1857-1924], a London surgeon, whose pencilled signature and the date 1886 appears on a fly-leaf, beneath which is his later address at Wanstead dated 1923. They are noted as 'lent by Dr. G. W. Collins' in the Catalogue of the Wellcome Jenner Centenary Exhibition of February 1923, and were presumably acquired after his death in 1924.
