Biographical note

In July 1926 a Sub-committee was appointed and met at the Offices of Saint Luke's Hospital at 19 Nottingham Place, to consider purchase of properties in Muswell Hill suitable for a nursing home, namely Norton Lees, Roseneath and Lea Wood.

In November 1926 Sub-committee 'number 2' was appointed to further consider the utilisation of these properties for a Nursing Home (last meeting April 1928). A 'Sub-committee on Plans' was also appointed and first met in January 1927 to consider Mr J A Pole, Architect's proposals.

A Building Sub-committee met in April 1928 to consider Mr Pole's scheme of possible reductions in costs for a Clinic at Highgate.
