About this work

Description

An epitome of surgery, physiology, hygiene, pathology, etc. With longer notes 'Des apostèmes' and 'Des rumeurs en particulier', etc. The surgical section at the beginning is based on the work of Guy de Chauliac [1300?-1368]. Lettered on the spine 'Princ[ipes] de Chirur[gie]'.

1 volume 65 ll. 4to. 20 × 18 cm. Original calf binding. The title-page and preliminary leaves have been torn out, as well as two leaves following the section on tumours.
