Description

Nepal: wooden suspension bridge over a canyon, near Khumjung (altitude 3600 metres) in the Khumbu. Suspension bridges facilitate the movement of people and animals through the rugged and difficult terrain. In this picture, two European trekkers follow their Sherpa guide across the bridge.
