Condren, Charles De (1588-1641)

Discours en faveur de l'astrologie judiciaire. Small pen-drawn medallion-vignette on title. At the end of the text, the copyist has written 'Ce traicté n'a pas esté parachevé par l'autheur'. This has been crossed through by a later owner of the MS. It is to be noted that in the printed version of the Author's 'Discours et lettres', 2 vols. 1643, 1648, the title is 'Discours contre l'astrologie'. This MS. may perhaps be a copy of a preliminary draft.
