c.38 copies of correspondence, mostly handwritten, between Tolman and A. A. Roback (fellow student at Harvard), topics include the oath, death of Tolman's brother, gas explosion, careers after Harvard, 1913-1952. Also includes typed and handwritten correspondence between A. A. Roback and G. W. Leytham, topics covered include reminiscences of college life with Tolman and impressions of other students 1960-1963.
