![s The whole duty of those whose professions It is to endeavour to alleviate the pains and ail- ments of others, is to act to the full extent of that confined power which is allowed to them, in eradicating-, by the most soothing and most effec- tual means, the cause of whatever is unnatural to the human frame. Various Diseases require various remedies, and this disease requires, in an aggravated state, the most sound judgment in its treatment.
