The copy in the Bibliothèque Interuniversitaire de médecine has: Syncerissimo viro domino Rutgero Giffeo Buscoducensi, Thelogiae [sic] peritissimo, amico suo singulari Andreas Wesalius Bruxellensis. S.D.P. (not recorded by Cushing).
Copy 1. Supplier/Donor: Med. soc. Lond. Missing final (blank) leaf. Binding: 19th century mottled calf with gilt roll border and gold tooled spine with red and green leather spine labels. Signature on title page "Ioh. Mauritius". Stamps on verso of title page "Museum Britannicum" and "British Museum Sale Duplicate 1787". From the library of John Morris which was purchased by Charles II in 1660. Part of the Old Royal Library which was donated to the British Museum in 1757 by King George II. Sold as part of British Museum duplicate sales in 1787 (lot 2267, 6d) and bought by James Sims, whose collection was purchased by the Medical Society of London in 1800.
