Description
Nine long wooden mounts (9.5 x 35.2 cm.) each containing four circular coloured slides of animals. Mounts bear stamp of "Copper-plate slider" followed by serial numbers in series "Mammalia" (17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) and "Birds" (no. 6). Each slide annotated with inscribed names of animals. Birds mount includes stamp of Carpenter & Westley, 24 Regent Street London
