Boivin, Marie Anne Victoire Gillain (1776-1841)

Album of original coloured and uncoloured plates, some with holograph descriptions, of the female genital organs, illustrating the morbid pathology of the uterus, etc. There are 111 mounted illustrations, and 73 inserted unmounted; together with 12 loose leaves of holograph notes by Madame Boivin and others. Many of these illustrations were used in Madame Boivin's 'Atlas des maladies de l'utérus', published in Paris in 1833. Produced in Paris.
