Copy 1. The woodcuts have been roughly coloured by hand; contemporary marginal MS. notes. Last leaf wanting.
Copy 2. Supplier/Donor: Med. Soc. Lond. T.p. and prels. (4 leaves) wanting, supplied in contemporary ms copied from printed text. Binding: 19th century with marbled paper. The MS. title leaf is inscribed "Ricardus Canturbury Monachus de Wyntonia" and several other illegible inscriptions. MS title leaf is larger than text block and has been folded. The other 3 ms preliminary leaves are smaller than the text block. Catalogue number of Sir Hans Sloane on MS. title-leaf 'N.1395'. British Museum stamp (blank) on ms leaf [2] (only top edge remains after cropping). 'British Museum sale duplicate 1787' and Medical Society of London stamp on page [I]. MS. marginal notes throughout. Notes on blank flyleaf at end headed 'Of the weights and measures of medicaments used by chirurgians'.
