On the first leaf 'John Gibson 1634. A booke of Medicines', below this 'Joanne Gibson. Ars longa, vita brevis. 1669', and under this 'Joanna Gibson 1708'. On the verso of the last leaf 'Liber Joannis Gibsoni Anno Domini 1632', and inside the lower cover 'Pretium 1s'.
The last entry, by Joanna Gibson, is dated 1717.
