Lawrence, Mass., April 7. Her heart replaces mechanical heart. Mrs Barbara Ewan, 40, of Lawrence, Mass., was the heart donor that replaced the mechanical heart of Haskell Karp in Houston, Texas today. Mrs Ewan was flown to Houston early today after suffering irreversible brain damage. The transplant was completed in two hours at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital by a team headed by Dr Denton A.
