The animals film.

This film looks at many aspects of animal abuse including the abandoning and mistreatment of domestic animals, laboratory testing, factory farming and slaughterhouse conditions. The aim is to raise awareness of animal rights. Much of the footage was shot guerilla-style, with small crews sneaking inside slaughterhouses and compounds. The viewing is frequently upsetting and in this respect the programme is extremely effective.
