    (See page 200.) FORMULAE FOR USE IN GONORRHOEA For Irrigation :— (1) Potassium permanganate gr. xx. Distilled water, 3 xx. 1 to 2 ounces to each pint of water. (2) Albargin, gr. 50. Distilled water, 3 20. 1 to 2 ounces to each pint of water. (3) Nitrate of silver, gr. 20. DistUled water, 3 xx. 1 to 2 ounces to each pint of water. (4) Sulphate of zinc, gr. 30. Water, § 20. 1 to 2 ounces to each pint of water. For Injection:— (1) Protargol, gr. 4. Distilled water, 3] 1 part to 3 of water to begin with, then equal parts of protargol solution and water, finally using the solution undiluted. Occasionally the strength may be mcreased to 8 grains to the ounce for obstinate cases. 259
