Description

Image of a cuff microscope made in the mid eighteenth century in Germany. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A60949).
