RawMinds Event Creation project 2017

Raw Minds | Get involved

Looking to start something new and fresh in January? Want to build your portfolio, UCAS form or CV? Join our RawMinds spring project and collaborate with other young people to create a public event exploring the fascinating theme of masculinity.

This project will involve creating a drop-in event for our Friday Late ‘Macho’. The project group will be led by the Youth Programme team and interactive theatre and festival producers non zero one to research, develop and deliver a hands-on gallery experience for our lively Friday night audience.

If you’re interested in developing your skills in performing, writing, event planning or event management and have a real passion for interaction, then this opportunity is for you! You’ll have access to leading scientific researchers, get to grapple with what the idea of masculinity means to you, and be able to use everything you find out to create an interactive experience for the public to take part in.

Want a flavour of what the project will involve? We’ve already had a chat with a group of young people to gather their thoughts on masculinity, and they helped us make the trailer above.
