Various venues across Manchester

5 February – 30 March 2015

Our Sexology Season partners in Manchester are Contact Theatre, Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester Art Gallery, MOSI, Wonder Woman Festival, People’s History Museum, Manchester Museum, Helen Storey Foundation, Creative Tourist, The Whitworth, SICK! Festival, The Joyce Layland LGBT Centre; and Let’s Go GlobalTV/bluSci.

We’re putting on a programme of 35 Manchester-based events: performance theatre, dance, live art, film, debates and talks, workshops, a themed gallery tour, and three salons – one on Victorian prostitution and child abuse, one on ‘Frocks and Sex’ and another on sexual attraction. There will also be activities on understanding female pleasure and on women, sex and mental health.

Postcards produced by the latter project, Mind the Sex, will be available online and in print. See below for more information. Most of these events will involve a sexologist either as an adviser or a contributor in public discussions.
