Play Prolix.

Prolix is a game by pyun-pyun, made using images from Wellcome Library’s digitised collections and made in the game-creation tool Twine. Treat it like a story where you get to make decisions: click on the highlighted text to move through, sometimes picking from many choices, sometimes from just one.

Prolix uses images from the collection as artefacts within the game world, things to show and discuss.

Wellcome Library has large digitised collections that are freely available online to download, reimagine, play with and use to create new work. This is one of three games which were created for Friday Late Spectacular: Play by game designers who were invited to look through the collection and find something they wanted to use and respond to.
